Order of Truth, Shield Knight Paladin

The Shield Knight Paladin is the epitome of the 2nd ed rules on Cavalier placed in a 3rd ed setting. In actuality it is simply a Prestige class that mandates a series of feats but grants. The Cavalier has no choice in training and all feats are mandated until 6th level. At 6th level, the knight may direct his training as desired and can choose feats normally as well as gaining bonus feats as a fighter. This reflects the ordered and structured training of the Shield Knights.

It should be noted rank is not a direct reflection of level and rank also bears with it bonus feats (ie PF Fear radius expands to 2” at rank: Commander). This is in addition to those listed below.

Feats: Cavalier Mental Resistance, Cavalier Protection from Fear, Mounted Combat
Class has no discretionary feats until 6th level (Knight)
Ride: 8 ranks
Heraldry: 3 rank
