The Greyhawkian religion, as it is called by those who follow it is somewhat of a misnomer. It is not an organized religion per se. It has no churches and few temples. Rather it is a religion born of nomadic travelers. Most of these travelers left the areas of the Great Aerdian Nation as early as 150 AD fleeing persecution, criminal charges, or economic opportunity. There are some reports however, of travelers from the north (7). The religion is based on person accounts of revelations by its founders and the investigations of some arcane figures (7).
Worship of these gods is common throughout the wetlands of western Oerth, including areas of the former Keoland, Veluna, the Uleks, and the Hold of the Sea Princes.
Several non-human pagan religions are prevalent among the cat people of the Amedio Jungle, various groups within the Celadon Forest, and throughout the humanoid empires of Iuz and the Horned Society.
