Once cast, the spell remains quiescent and does not activate until the target recipient or caster chooses (but each day it remains untriggered, it uses up an epic spell slot, even if the character cast it on another creature). Once triggered, the spell is expended and the target is concidered as having drawn and invoked the card of Fates from a Deck of Many Things. This enables the recipient to avoid even an instantaneous occurrence if so desired, for the fabric of reality is unraveled and respun. The event is chosen when the spell is triggered by whomever triggered it (caster or recipient) and the recipient of the effect pays a 25,000 experience point cost. Note that it does not enable something to happen. It can only stop something from happening or reverse a past occurrence. The reversal is mainly for the character who drew the card but all effects that resulted from the occurences are reversed. Other party members may or may not have to endure the situation (at DM's discretion, but bear in mind the experience point cost subtracts 250 from the DC of the spell, if the reversal is small than multiple creatures could be affected).
